Which way’s the beach? We’re excited to announce that Nurse Next Door is expanding in the city of Toronto and will now bring Happier Aging to The Beaches!
Registered Nurse, Ruth Sable has worked for Nurse Next Door since 2014. She started out as a Care Designer, carefully creating Care Plans for clients and has gained a lot of experience over the past 7 years that she’ll be transferring to her own team as she embarks on this exciting new chapter of owning her own business.
So without further ado, let’s get to know Ruth!
Why did you choose to start a Nurse Next Door franchise?
Nurse Next Door’s core values and philosophies have always resonated with me. I’ve had many experiences over the last 7 years working with the company. I’ve seen what it takes to Make Lives Better for seniors and the impact that Happier Aging has on their lives. I’m looking forward to bringing that WOW Customer Experience to all my clients.
How is Nurse Next Door special in your community?
A lot of home care is task based; meal preparations, transportation, light housekeeping, etc. It’s important to get the work done, but what sets us apart is that it doesn’t end there with Nurse Next Door. There’s a special focus on the client’s dreams and goals. What is it they used to love doing that they no longer do? How can we facilitate that in a safe and playful way? That’s what makes us stand out.
What need is there for home care in your community?
When the question is, “where can I get quality home care?” Nurse Next Door is always the answer. Many families have been forced to stay apart since the pandemic started and our goal is to allow our clients to age comfortably and safely in their own home; exactly where they want to be, and to bring that peace of mind to their families who haven’t been able to see or help their loved ones.
Lastly, what does Happier Aging mean to you?
Happier Aging is all about going above and beyond. It’s about exceeding expectations. It’s about surprising and delighting. It’s truly about ‘love in the details’.
